Terms of Service

These terms govern use of Washtenaw County Busted Mugshots. By accessing the site, you agree to them; if you do not agree, please do not use the site.

This is a privately operated guide with no affiliation to any government body, sheriff, jail, or corrections department. It helps visitors locate official Washtenaw County and Michigan inmate or jail-record resources, but neither this site nor its advertising partners provides credit, employment, insurance, tenant-screening, or other FCRA-covered services. We are not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency.

Nature of the Site

Washtenaw County Busted Mugshots is an independent reference site with no ties to a government office. It does not store official records, confirm custody, release anyone, or submit filings for users.

The site points readers toward Washtenaw County inmate and jail-record resources and selected third-party research tools. A public-record request to a government body is subject to Michigan law, including the request procedures in MCL 15.235, rather than these site terms.

External Resources

The site may link to jail and booking resources, sheriff or corrections websites, government portals, legal-aid organizations, and outside search services. We do not control their content, privacy practices, data handling, availability, or terms, so review their policies before using them.

All site content is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee of:

  • Accuracy, completeness, or current status
  • Uninterrupted access
  • Freedom from errors, defects, or security vulnerabilities
  • The completeness of results supplied by a partner search tool

Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing on this site is an official statement from the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office or another government agency.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, this site or an outside resource reached through it.
